Ministries and Events...

Below is a list of some of the ministry opportunities at Nashua Baptist Church. If you are interested in any of these areas, please call the church office and ask how you can use your gifts to help out.

• Prayer Ministry
  • Meet for prayer every Wednesday night at 6:45 PM in the Pastor's office.  The church also maintains a prayer chain to circulate prayer requests to church members.
• Small Groups for Adults
  • A selection of small groups are offered for for adults of all ages.  Some of these groups meet on Sunday morning and others meet during the week.
• Children’s Ministry
  • Sunday School classes and Super Church help meet the spiritual needs of children every Sunday. 
• Community Food Closet
  • A small closet is maintained which contains canned goods, packaged goods, and household supplies which may be distributed to individuals and families as needed.
• Church Planting in New Hampshire
  • The church is part of the New Hampshire Baptist Association.  They coordinate church planting throughout New Hampshire.
• Disaster Relief
  • The church is a part of the Southern Baptist Convention Disaster Relief organization.  Training is provided to volunteers in mudout, chainsaw, chaplaincy, and other disaster relief methods.  Trained volunteers participate as directed in disaster relief efforts.
• International Missions Support
  • Donations to the Cooperative Program are sent to the Baptist Convention of New England and these contributions help provide support for over 5,000 foreign missionaries.  
• Senior Adult Ministry
  • Small groups are organized for senior adults.
• Traditional Choir
  • The choir meets for practice most Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM.
• Contemporary Praise Ensemble
  • The contemporary praise ensemble includes singers and musicians.  This goup practices at 8:00 PM most Wendnesday nights and provides praise music at Sunday worship services.
• Financial Peace University
  • The church offers financial planning courses on a periodic basis.
• Marriage Enrichment Weekend
  • The church offers marriage enrichment weekends on a periodic basis.
• Vacation Bible School
  • Every summer the church schedules VBS  for children. 
• Multimedia Ministry
  • The church has a service team that runs the audio and video services during all worship services.  Special training is provided to all volunteers.
• Drama Team
  • The church periodically schedules plays and skits that help the church with worship services.
• Active Youth Ministry
  • The church provides an active youth program with small groups that meet for Bible study, and discipleship, and youth mission trips, camp, and other special activities.
